Costi Stratnic: 20 Minutes in less than 1 Second

Apparently an easy topic to discuss in 1000 characters, but when you start doing it (without being your job) you realize that the theme is not simple at all.
I am lucky to experience „time” in many situations, and this helps me, I hope, to live it to the fullest.
Last weekend I participated in a car competition, where the difference between me and the one before me was only 0.6 seconds. I was convinced, until Monday morning, that I will not forget my experience of winning that half a second too soon.
On Monday morning, my little girl refused to go into the kindergarten because she didn’t like her socks, and I was going to have an important business meeting in 20 minutes. I realized then that 20 minutes can sometimes go faster than half a second :).
I said that I am lucky to experience time in so many of its forms, and one of them is the cultural difference of understanding time between different countries or continents. For sure time is understood and lived differently in Moldova, Muntenia, Dobrogea, Transylvania, Banat, Oltenia and especially in our “multicultural” Bucharest.
I hope that I have challenged you enough and in the end I recognize that I am “sick” of punctuality.
