Defender Driving Experience

It is hard to explain a feeling so intense as living the legendary Defender spirit. So therefore, the brand prefers to build experiences and invite guests to indulge in a world of adventure and refinement that allows them to understand that the Defender concept represents so much more than an undefeated off-road automotive icon.
The episode organized at 30 minutes outside of Bucharest, at Singureni Manor, has allowed the participants to discover the potential and the performance inside each Defender model but also the particular universe of a story that welcomes independent characters to treasure the freedom of living an authentic lifestyle.
For the off-road part, the cars were driven on the wild domain of Singureni Manor where the iconic car – relaunched in its present luxurious form since 2019 – has proved its courage and exploring qualities guaranteed especially by the adjustable pneumatic suspension and Terrain Response 2 system. The eight Defenders available have conquered the natural landscape with a guest behind the wheel and each of them assisted by an experienced trainer on the right seat. Following the captivating off-road test-drive, the Defender experience continued with an original workshop where guest had the unique opportunity to create their own candles using essences of plants that grow in hard to access places where only a Defender can take you. The deep connection with the nature was also underlined by a spectacular equestrian show as Singureni Manor is home to some of the world’s mode beautiful and awarded pure Arabian horses.
The complex day ended with a true fine dining experience inside the unique restaurant of the resort – La Hambar – where Chef Alexandru Dumitru designed a 12 dishes sophisticated menu, each of them with a unique story written with local ingredients.
The top ingredient of the event, Defender was revealed to the audience also in its most powerful and luxurious version: OCTA – 635 HP V8, pneumatic suspension 6D Dynamics, hard to match off-road performance and a sports look individualized by carbon fiber
elements.

The event at Singureni Manor proved once again that Defender is not just a vehicle, but a symbol of the adventurous spirit and authentic refinement. From spectacular off-road routes, to moments of relaxation and introspection, each activation was designed to celebrate the Defender philosophy: the courage to explore and the desire to push boundaries.
