Mihai Jurca: A Short Travel in Time

Danish writer H.C. Andersen emphasized perhaps the most beautiful sense of travel, when he said that ”To Travel is to Live”. It is the passion that always keeps your mind engaged, that makes you develop on all levels, which facilitates your contact with people, customs, places, which you would not have believed existed.
For me, time is measured in the days left until my next adventure. I often tell myself that until next week when I leave, I will have to do this and this and that! Travel disciplines me, sets a temporary horizon against which my daily activities are carried out. And it never lets me get into a dangerous routine. From every place I visit, I have something to learn. When I return, I am never the same person as when I left. Because I saw something new, I know more, I learned something that will serve me in my daily life. And in this way we evolve, whether we want it or not. I really like this algorithm!
And that is, I am traveling now, so I have stories to tell when I’m old!
