A.Lange&Sohne at Watches&Wonders Shanghai 2020

A.Lange&Sohne marks the 175th anniversary of the Manufacture’s story with three limited models reunited as the “Homage to F. A. Lange”. The special models dedicated to brilliant watchmaker Ferdinand Adolph Lange are available in Lange’s exclusive honey gold.

The 1815 THIN HONEYGOLD “Homage to F. A. Lange” recalls Ferdinand Adolph Lange’s legendary pocket watches. Limited to 175 pieces, the two-hand watch has a 6.3-millimetre thin case, 38 mm diameter, in honey gold and a classic white enamel dial.
The L093.1 manufacture calibre of the 1815 THIN HONEYGOLD “Homage to F. A. Lange” – 167 parts – is a modern interpretation of Lange’s product philosophy and offers a power reserve of 72 hours.

The 1815 RATTRAPANTE HONEYGOLD “Homage to F. A. Lange” puts the focus on one of the haute horlogerie most complicated functions and is limited to 100 pieces being a first combining a honey- gold case with a black dial. The manually wound calibre L101.2 features a complex split-seconds chronograph that can be admired through the sapphire- crystal caseback.

The TOURBOGRAPH PERPETUAL HONEY- GOLD “Homage to F. A. Lange” represents the masterpiece of the special collection and combines five classic complications: Tourbillon, rattrapante chronograph, perpetual calendar, and fusée-and-chain transmission. The case and the dial of the 50 pieces limited edition timepiece are crafted from solid 18-carat honey gold. As a spectacular particularly, the raised numerals and scales as well as the logo are not applied but instead are raised from the material by about 0.15 millimetres. The unique L133.1 movement consists of 684 parts and it follows the rules of classic precision watchmaking.
